Victoria E. Johansson - Director & Founder As the primary founder of The Friendship Home Community, Vicki's vision, efforts and energy have been realized through TFHC's exceptionally personal and loving living environments for each resident. Vicki has worked to ensure TFHC is wholeheartedly committed to the practice of hospitality. The root meaning of hospitality* is the practice of turning strangers into guests and friends. The Friendship Home Community’s mission is to make our homes a loving community.
Vicki is passionately committed to creating a place where each resident is personally cared for, valued and the recipient of the very best physical, emotional and spiritual care. From the training of the staff to all aspects of daily life at TFHC, everything that is done is a transparent expression of unconditional love for each person. Every activity and process at TFHC is constantly evaluated against this commitment of loving care. The Friendship Home Community is the visible and tangible expression of our calling to lovingly serve the elderly.
Vicki received a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh; she has served a 22-member metropolitan educational organization for at-risk students and also worked at an alternative high school for students in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. Her experience and business acumen assure a caring, service-oriented yet efficiently managed business operation. Vicki is a wife, mother of three children and grandma. She is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis.

Mark N. Johansson, Ph.D. - Consultant & Advisor Mark received a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Duquesne University and has extensive experience in the counseling field. He has been the Counseling Director for two local community medical clinics and he currently is using his psychology experience in the business world. Dr. Johansson has led seminars, taught classes and presented forums on the spiritual/psychological aspects of health, healing and healthy lifestyle choices which brings a unique perspective to the value of growing older in our society. He is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis.
Mark and Vicki have partnered with several local professionals in the health care and elder care fields who lend their expertise and insight into appropriate physical, mental and spiritual/psychological care.
Aubree M. Johansson - Program & Staffing Manager Aubree is pursuing a Master's of Arts in Health and Human Services Administration from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. She received a B.A. from Northwestern College in Roseville, MN and has five years experience as a program manager of two group homes for individuals with physical and mental disabilities and adults with traumatic brain injuries. She brings skills and knowledge related to managing the daily aspects of the home from her experience within the field of residential health care.
Her perspective about residential care creates much of the loving uniqueness of The Friendship Home Community. Aubree and Tim's son, Timothy, Jr., visits The Friendship Home Community regularly and is a favorite of all the residents. Aubree and Tim are also members of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Timothy M. Johansson, Sr., M.A. - Employee Development, Resident and Family Support
Tim earned Master's Degree in Counseling & Psychological Services at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and will begin working on his Doctor of Psychology degree in the fall of 2010. His practicum focuses on working with individauls in the area of Career and Vocational Development. His B.A. in Psychology is from the University of Minnesota.
In 2004, Tim completed a validation study of health-care related selection tools for a large group home organization. He has brought his combination of skills and knowledge to The Friendship Home Community.
Tim's primary role is working with TFHC Consulting & Research, LLC on developing The Care Profiler for organizational use.
